Best Steak Marinade Recipe

The best steak marinade for your ribeye
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Marinade time 2 hours
Servings 2

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs ribeye steak 4 oz each
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp per side
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Season the steak with freshly ground salt and pepper.
  • Generously spread garlic powder on each side of the ribeye.
  • Pour 1/2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce on each side of the steak. There are 2 pcs of ribeye steaks, so that makes 4 sides of 1/2 tsp each.
  • Put butter/margarine and olive oil in a hot pan. The olive oil stops the butter from burning. Heat pan to highest heat.
  • Cook for 2 minutes each side until crust forms (the side turns black-brown), or until it's done to your liking (rare, medium, medium well, or well-done - I personally prefer medium well).
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes. Cut into strips and serve.
